Modify the X-Robots-Tag HTTP header: Check your HTTP headers for a noindex or noarchive or other negative headers. That could look like this: X-Robots-Tag: noindex. You can modify the X-Robots-Tag using .htaccess and httpd.conf files that are available by default on Apache-based web servers.

Fixing ‘noindex’ detected in ‘robots’ meta tag in Rank Math SEO
If you are using Rank Math SEO plugin then follow the steps provided to fix this error.
- Open WP Dashboard
- Navigate to Rank Math Title & Meta Settings
- in Global Mata settings, check if you checked “noindex” mistakenly
If you want to change anything in the Global meta then you can check index checkbox or leave it empty to set it at other levels. Like you can set it on Post Format, Post, Page and image-level settings.
Fixing “noindex” from WordPress Settings
Most of the times we have seen that bloggers do this mistake. There is a setting in our WordPress Settings where you can mark the full website as noindex.
